The bearing is designed as per standard jt391-1999 pot-type elastomeric pad bearing for high way bridge, which is a replacement of the previous pot bearing of jt3141-90. For a distinction, the new products is renamed gpz (ii).
The bearing is a new type of bridge bearing, made up of component and rubber. It features high loading capacity, great horizontal displacement, smooth rotation, etc. Compared with other types of pot bearing and cast steel roller bearing, it is lighter, structurally more compact and simple, lower in construction height and easier for manufacture. As less steel is used, it is much cheaper. This bearing is desirable for large span bridges. The capacity of this series bearing is now up to 31 grades, from 0.8mn to 60mn, and can meet the demand from domestic construction of large bridges.

The pot bearing is a type of bridge bearing, made up of steel component and rubber.
This bearing is desirable for bridges. Pot bearing is economical due to simpleconstruction method and it is structurally more compact, light, and lower in construction
height and long service life. The main part of bearing are sliding plate,alloy steel sliding surface, bearing pot, PTFE disc, pot cover, vulcanized-inpressure seal, elastomeric pad and seal against moisture. The bearing is classified
as three types: sliding guided type, free sliding bearing and fixed type.Dimensions and weights for deviating permissible concrete pressures and unusual load
conditions will be calculated on request. Depending on the area of applicationand country requirements pot bearings can be supplied in accordance with various
standards, e.g. DIN 4141, BS5400, AASHTO, JT391, etc.
