The ball & socket bearing features a low-stress pivot, carries high loads, and solves shaft misalignment problems. TurboCare has perfected the precise manufacturing techniques required to ensure ruggedness and dependability in the most demanding service. The new TurboCare Axial Crown (TAC) bearing offers the same level of alignment capability as the ball & socket style at a lower cost. The TAC bearing is easy to rebuild in the field and fits into tighter spaces.

The tilt pad journal bearings eliminate any pivot wear, high contact stresses and pad flutter problems and achieve the same low cross-coupling and high stability through flexure and rotation of the support web which is achieved in a standard tilt pad bearings by the rocking or sliding motion. Our Flexure Pivot tilting pad journal bearings are offered in a standard line or they can be customized to meet specific application need.
